Requirements to buy iphone with AT&T contract?

So please tell me that '' WHAT ARE THE Requirements to buy iPHONE" from at&t or verizon etc.
As i'm going to visit US In next 2-3 weeks…

Yes! You must provide your social security number in order to get a credit check and then they will sell you the phone on a contract price. Otherwise you can buy the iPhone without contract for around $700! Or more!
- Verizon Data Plan Requirements? I have a plan that includes 500 talk; unlmtd text; 100MB data. I can get the iPhone 5 free, but I don't know if my plan would fall under the ''data plan req'd' category. Does anyone know if my plan would qualify? I'm really not going to use it as a smartphone, but I'd like to be able to get a better camera phone & get a few apps to keep my kid occupied sometimes.
- Space requirements on iPhone 5? How can I tell how much space I need on my iPhone to download and install something? I'm trying to download an 1.31 GB and I can't download it even though I have 2.9 GB free, so if you don't know how to tell how much any app can have, at least tell me how much I need for that one app.
- Should I get iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S? No contract or with contract? I don't know what exactly is so much better with the 5 compared to 4S? I'm thinking to get it with no contract because I'll be in Europe over the summer so I'll need another contract over there for a few months so that likely wouldnt work if I got a 2 year contract here in the US is the 5 much more expensive than the 4s? and does the price vary a lot if I buy with/without contract?
- Is the iPhone 5s better with a contract or no contract? Which is cheaper? I was thinking about getting an iPhone 5s and I was just wondering if no contract or contract was cheaper. I saw that T- mobile offered a no contract deal, yes I know you have to pay it all up front. I just want to know which would be cheaper in the long run.
