Space requirements on iPhone 5?
How can I tell how much space I need on my iPhone to download and install something? I'm trying to download an 1.31 GB and I can't download it even though I have 2.9 GB free, so if you don't know how to tell how much any app can have, at least tell me how much I need for that one app.
Settings-General-Usage and it gives you the total used and total available at the top. You will need at minimum 25MB of additional storage for the download to go through. And iTunes downloads of that size MUST go through with Wi-Fi. The cellular data can't handle a file of that size.
If it will not download, sync it over using a computer. If this doesn't work either it is a possibility that your queue is blocked (it happens usually with multiple downloads going at the same time or very large apps) and you would have to call Apple to have them clear it.
- Why is my iPhone storage space used so high? I have a 16GB iPhone 4s. I have no songs or videos on it. I have about 32 apps and 500 pictures. My storage space used is at 13.2 GB. Why is that so high? That is almost all of my available data? How can I bring this down? I have a friend with the same phone, same number of pictures and about the same number of apps (maybe a few less) and his storage is only about 4GB used.
- Verizon Data Plan Requirements? I have a plan that includes 500 talk; unlmtd text; 100MB data. I can get the iPhone 5 free, but I don't know if my plan would fall under the ''data plan req'd' category. Does anyone know if my plan would qualify? I'm really not going to use it as a smartphone, but I'd like to be able to get a better camera phone & get a few apps to keep my kid occupied sometimes.

- Possible to switch iphone 6 hard drive into iphone 6s harddrive? (for more memory space)? So I've broken my old iphone 6 which had way more storage than this new one, and I was wondering if I can change the hard drives or whatever holds the memory from phone to phone. I did buy an iPhone 6s so I'm not sure if the iphone 6 and 6s has different hardwares or whatever. But just curious.
