Reset network Settings iPhone 5 problem?
My iPhone 5 was jailbroken. I did a reset network settings since my network wasn't working for over an hour already. I got to the apple logo then it went all black. It didn't turn on. I tried doing hard reset but it didn't work. All it did was turned it on to the apple logo then turn off again. Would it be okay to just try and update my phone? It on an ios 8 right now.

Yeah you shouldn't do that reset or even Erase all content and settings on a jailbroken device.
AFAIK, your only solution is to do a restore in DFU mode through iTunes. This will update your phone to iOS 10, and you will loose anything that isn't backed up.
- Will the MAC address of my iPhone reset if I reset my iPhone to its factory settings over iTunes? I have jailbroken my device and used terminal to change my MAC address so that I could connect to school's Wi-Fi. But when I wanted to change it to its initial number, I typed in a wrong value and it just messed up my Wi-Fi, I can't connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Wonder if resetting to factory settings would help…
