Restore new iPhone with content from old iPhone?
My old iPhone 4 got wet and no longer functions. I now have another iPhone 4, however it used to belong to my mother but she doesn't use it anymore. Is there a way to restore the data from my old iPhone into my new iPhone? Not just the music, but everything that was backed up.
You need to erase all the data on your mothers iPhone first including all of the media and information, and to default all the iPhone settings.
To do this connect iPhone to a power adapter. Choose Settings --> General --> Reset and tap "Erase All Content and Settings."
Once completed you can plug your iPhone into your computer and use iTunes to restore your data and settings if required.
