Restoring IPhone 4, want to keep photos and contacts?
I have to restore my IPhone 4 due to the capacity of "other" taking up half the space on my phone. Unfortunately, I'm only 15 and I really don't know what I'm doing. I can live without saving my notes and text messages and such, but i would really like to save my photos and contacts. What is a simple way I can do this?
If you have a itunes account you can go with icloud
And when you restore you just choose to backup and restore with icloud or on itunes hook up a ipod and choose sync you do this before or after you restore icloud is under settings

My sister uses decipher backup browser to save her iPhone contacts and photos to her computer. Hope you are able to save them before restoring your phone!
Simply backup your contacts and text messages first and then factory restore your iPhone. After iPhone restore, connect it to iTunes and it will ask you to restore from a previous backup, comfird this option. All your photos and contacts will be there again.

- Restoring iphone, but keeping apps and contacts? It was getting a bit slow, and I want to restore it so its clean and fresh. My contacts are synced through icloud, so how will I get them back when the phone is restored? also, my apps will still be in itunes so I can resync them as well correct?
- My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. - IPhone delete photos keep automatically restoring on my phone? I've been trying to get rid of some pics that I took recently to make space on my phone. As soon as I delete them I go to the "recently deleted" album to get rid of them off of my phone completely however after a while the pictures just continue to show up again on my phone. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?
