Restoring iPhone, with no backup?
I accidentally forgot my pass code lock on my iPhone 4S… I tried all the little ways to hack it and get into it until I just caved and decided to restore it… I downloaded iTunes onto my mom's computer and just restored it from hers, I've never backed up my phone onto her computer before so none of my old pics, contacts etc were on her computer previously… My question is, if I restored my phone and completely wiped it clean, my pics and vids and personal data on that phone are not uploaded onto her computer now right? I only restored, no back up or anything.
Many people think that once they lost their iPhone, the data they saved in the device will be lost and can't get them back forever. Actually the thought is completely wrong!
If you have ever synced your iPhone with iTunes, there must be the iTunes backup files for your iPhone that allows you to extract and recover iPhone files from iTunes with help of third-party software. In this way, you can recover data for your iPhone even your device is lost, damaged or just inaccessible.
If you didn't backup: you can try Vibosoft iPhone Data Recovery

- Why does restoring my iphone from a backup use up so many gigabytes? I have an iphone 5 and I'm trying to restore my phone from last backup. Unfortunately, the back up is cancelled about 30 minutes in because my hard disk runs out of space. I have 10 gigs left so there should be any problem with that. I went to mobilesync folder and then to the backup folder and there's one folder there. Once you click on that folder there are thousands of files in that folder that have several modified dates on them. Basically can I just delete the old dated files?
