Route options on iphone 5 google maps?
I'm a learner driver and can't drive on motorways. I use google maps on my iphone5 for directions, but it keeps giving me routes including driving on motorways. I can't find an option to avoid motorways. Can someone please help me with this?
I don't believe there's an option as such to avoid motorways. Instead if you have the option to use the cycle transport icon that will certainly avoid motorways, where you will end up God only knows.
See if you can get a cheap satnav from your local paper or Ebay. Still cheaper than a fine and points.
- Yelp or the new google maps for iphone? What's up guys. I recently downloaded the new google maps app for the iphone, which I believe is fantastic. I've noticed that you can search for places like restaurants, and etc, more or less like yelp does. My question is should I still stay with the Yelp app or just use google maps for looking for other stuff besides directions?
- Why has google maps on the iPhone changed its road colors? Last night I was trying to avoid an accident on the motorway, and found that google has changed the colors of the roads, anyone know why they've done this, or is it just me? UK not US
- Old GPS or iPhone maps or google maps app? I'm going to drive from IL down to SC and I don't trust my old garmin nuvï 255 nor iphone maps lol:-) GPS update is $50 which I'm not going to spend. So has anyone used iphone maps or google maps app on long distance trips? Or I just better use old gps?
- IPhone: Google maps or default apple maps? I personally like the default maps, at least the OS 7 version. (like everyone else who had a brain, I hated the OS 6 version) Which one do you guys like more? Which is more popular now?
