Why has google maps on the iPhone changed its road colors?
Last night I was trying to avoid an accident on the motorway, and found that google has changed the colors of the roads, anyone know why they've done this, or is it just me?

It's not just on the iPhone, it's on everything.
Looks like they are updating it. It doesn't look good and is more difficult to read the maps now. Maybe it's to make it look more like american maps?
- Yelp or the new google maps for iphone? What's up guys. I recently downloaded the new google maps app for the iphone, which I believe is fantastic. I've noticed that you can search for places like restaurants, and etc, more or less like yelp does. My question is should I still stay with the Yelp app or just use google maps for looking for other stuff besides directions?
- With major tech companies, how detailed of road maps do they have regarding future products? Such as Google or Apple. With the road maps that they keep a secret, how far out do they usually make their decisions on what to include in products. Such as, do you think Apple already has a very good idea of what the specs will be of the iPhone that's announced in September of next year or even the following year?
- Route options on iphone 5 google maps? I'm a learner driver and can't drive on motorways. I use google maps on my iphone5 for directions, but it keeps giving me routes including driving on motorways. I can't find an option to avoid motorways. Can someone please help me with this?
- Old GPS or iPhone maps or google maps app? I'm going to drive from IL down to SC and I don't trust my old garmin nuvï 255 nor iphone maps lol:-) GPS update is $50 which I'm not going to spend. So has anyone used iphone maps or google maps app on long distance trips? Or I just better use old gps?
