Sent a package with USPS without persons name or return address
So I bassicly ****** this one up I sold an iPhone and I shipped it priority 2 day small box the persons address was on it however I failed to put a name or my address incase it needs returned I only have 50$ insurance on it and shipping confirmation do you think it will be okay?
It probably be ok but even with insurance, you are not covered without the name of the person you are shipping to. You should have a tracking# supplied free by USPS. Check that daily.
While they would tell you to not make a habit of this type of omission, the United States Postal Service (USPS) will deliver mail to a destination address without a return address. If something does go wrong, and the package is not able to be delivered, USPS can use the tracking number to locate the undeliverable package and get it back to you or at least to the Post Office Branch where it was originally mailed from based on the USPS send location.
An interesting note is that USPS requires a sender must provide a return address for packages sent using Priority Mail service. Surprised the postal clerk permitted your package to go without this information written in the upper left corner.

- Will I get my USPS Package today? Ok, so I ordered a iPhone on Black Friday from Amazon, the guy kept saying he was gunna ship it and finally did on the 3. I never heard of any more tracking so I called three days ago and the lady said it was still in Florida and they were gunna do priority 2 day mail. So this morning at 3 am it was in Sacrament, then at 5 it was at the post office the next town over (2 min. Drive) I have a po box at my local post office, do you think I'll get it today?
- When I go to text a new message on my iPhone, the persons name and phone number comes up gray? Ok so I went to go start a new chat with a person on my iPhone, and their name and number came up grey? The other names and numbers are coming up either blue or green except for like 3 others that are coming up grey. What does this mean?
- USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
- Sent iPhone through USPS to India? I have sent an iPhone and a Bose Sound Dock to India through USPS. That was by Express Mail and I mentioned all the values genuinely. Tracking says that the parcels are in Mumbai Customs. Its been over a two weeks and there's no change in the Status. How should i proceed further to get that delivered.
