Setting up iTunes on a new laptop
My sister and I both have iphones and we use the same itunes on her laptop. I'm in college now so I want my own itunes on my own laptop now. So my question is, how do I get the music that is currently on my phone and in the itunes on my sister's laptop to my laptop? We have separate apple IDs btw.
Just copy the song files you want from sister's computer to your new laptop, and import into iTunes once you've installed it.
- Will setting up my new iPhone erase my music from iTunes? So I finally got my very first iphone and connected it to my mac to try and sync some music. When I open itunes it gives me the option to "setup as new iPhone" or "restore from previous iPod" Will clicking "setup as new iPhone" delete all of my music from iTunes? Because I really don't want to click restore from old ipod because i don't want All the music and apps that I had on my ipod.
- Setting up my iPhone on iTunes when other devices are on there? I just got an iPhone and i plugged it into my computer to get some music off iTunes, i already have an iPad that's connected to the iTunes library on my computer already, and when i plugged my iPhone in it said to either set up as a new iPhone or restore from the backup of my iPad, what would happen if i picked either of them? Would i loose all the music on my iTunes and if i set it up as a new iPhone?
- Setting up a new iphone after back up? I was thinking of backing up my music on icloud but wanted to clear all the data and start again.so. 1)after setting up new iphone would the back up still be there to be loaded on the phone? 2) will musics be backed up?
- Restoring factory setting for IPHONE 6 on ACER ASPIRE LAPTOP? Hi for the past couple days I been trying to restore my iPhone 6 with my Laptop Acer Microsoft EVERYTING is UP TO DATE. I had to re-install iTunes and install iTunes again for the 4th time. Everytime I try restore my iphone 6 I can't access my passcode or touch id cause my stupid friend changed everything I don't mind restoring my whole iphone cause I have everything back uped already so any suggestion I don't if I can do it on my laptop or use another latop.
