Should grounding your kids be illegal?

Should grounding your kids be illegal? - 1

No, because there's almost no other non-harmful way to punish kids.

Get back to us when YOU have children.

Not at all. People frown on beating them, so you have to have something you can do.

No. Letting them loose on the streets under the age of 18 should be illegal.

Of course not.

Yes, no kid can live like this anymore. No longer there shall be punishments in the whole world. Just one and the kids get to decide their own punishment.

HELL YES. There are parents that take the grounding way too far. For example, if kid lies and gets grounded. Parent will do whatever it takes to stop it. My stepmom gave me food punishments. (Couldn't eat what the parent is eating, and it wouldn't be much) I have to wear solid color shirts I can't choose what type of books I have to read. I don't know if this is illegal, but if it is, someone should tell the cops. Just tell me to tell the cops, and I'll happily do it. I'm not saying it should be illegal, I'm saying it should be illegal to give harsh punishments like the ones I just described.

  • Is it illegal to record a conversation with someone if it was in your own home? Pretty much my house was burglarized yesterday I had a suspicion of who it may be. Today that person came to my house and pretty much made a full confession I was recording him on my iPhone. Is this evidence usable? He also brought back one item that had been stolen is that usable as evidence?
  • Is it illegal to put music on your iphone without buying it on itunes? I know you can put cds on there, but can you like drag a song into your itunes folder on your computer? (does that even make since?) I have a song I want to buy, but I'm like 20 cents short… So is it illegal to do that or not?
  • How to protect your kids online? I'm looking for a way of preventing my kids being able to visit certain websites and have more protection when 'googling' online. Ideally I would like to control the flow of internet from my home router without having to install software on laptops and other mobile devices such as iphones etc. Does anyone have any ideas?
