Should I buy an iphone 4? Read my situation?

Okay so me and my sister are looking to buy our first phone, however we don't want to spend too much money. This phone is only for our grade 12 year, and when university comes we will buy iphone 5S. We just plan on buying the phone and getting a prepaid plan or something cheap.

The thing is, is that i'm scared the iphone 4 will become old and people will start getting the 5, and i'll look like an idiot with the 4. But I can get the iphone for for 150 each, while the iphone 5 I can get for 450 each.

Should I take the 4 or get the 5?

Well I used to have the 4 and I could not stand how slow it was! It was unbelievable! So I took it back and bought a 5 instead. A major speed difference! I prefer the 5 because it is new and fast and I love the bigger screen. I would recommend getting the 5 but its up to you. Spend 300 extra dollars on the newest fastest phone or choose to save money and get the outdated 4?

Simply not… To b really honest… Iphone is a best option only and only if it is factory unlocked… Other than that… Iphone suck… Becoz of the shairing policy and due to explorefile on pc… Other than that… Their is only one app store where most of the apps are remarkably have a high price… As android have many of the apps free… Like whatapp and many many other apps. So boy just forget apple 4

I had an iPhone 4 and it was a good phone, but I prefer android. You have more freedom and can customize it. I think iPhone gets boring after awhile. But if you really do want the iphone then you should probably get the 4 or 4s. I don't think the.5 inch on the iPhone 5 is worth all that extra money.

If you're worried about what others think, then wait a bit until you have more money.

To be frank, iPhones have become a silly statues symbol and people are beginning to realize that.

If you really want a cutting-edge do-it-all phone get a Samsung Galaxy S4. You'll have your iPhone-toting friends green with envy when you show off its capabilities.

Iphone 4 will get iOS7 and so that means it still will be supported. It looks exactly like the 4s even, which is the step above the 4. You won't look like an idiot, trust me. If anything, it'll be easier to find cheaper chargers/cases!

The IP4 is months away from being discontinued on release of the IP5S.

Apple only support LAST 3 iPhones, discontinued means no longer sold by Apple, any future upgrades are for supported phones some new apps just WON'T WORK

On 12/09/2012 IP5 announced IP 3GS DROPPED, like the year before IP4S IN, IP3G OUT.

It appears that your only research is that I want an iPhone, it may be the cheapest when compared to other iPhones but to invest any money in an OVERPRICED device is a waste as in 2 years you will be using a 5 year old device that came out in 2010. Many have already upgraded from the IP4 in 2012

There are newer phone better phone and they cost a lot less, giving you more than the 8Gb on the IP4, you should look at eg Sam Gal ACE II or the Lumia 620 for phone with a secondary camera microSD expansion Wi-Fi, GPS, DUAL CORE… AND/ &/ PLUS/ + BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER (Sharing) which no iPhone even the IP5 has.

The Samsung Galaxy S II (2)was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.

18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the IP5

All iPhones do NOT have BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER BMT (SHARING) and never will. The SGS II HAS BMT and the 8 missing feature NOT even on the IP5. The SGS II can be bought for a fraction of the cost of the hyper inflated iPhone5

Your intended purchase of the IP5S is to purchase "ancient" technology as it is already on phones that have been released years ago. Changes to iPhones historically will be 4 new features and existing 'made better'

The are many phones far superior to the IP5. That list will remain unaltered despite the arrival of the IP5S
