Should I buy the iPhone 5 or 5s? - 1

It is almost my birthday and my parents told me they would get me an iPhone. I really don't want the iPhone 5c because it is plastic and I don't like the design. I like the iPhone 5 because most of my friends have it and there are lots of cool cases for it. I also like the 5s because it is support to be 2 times faster, but I heard the fingerprint ID doesn't work very well from many people and it doesn't have very many cases… Which one should I get?

Well if your parents say you can choose, then differently the 5s because it's more improved. But the 5 is pretty fine too, since there's not much difference.

The iPhone 5 is discontinued, good luck finding one that they won't charge you an arm and a leg for.

your only new choices are the 5s and the 5c. As for the 5s, you don't need to use the fingerprint scanner if you don't want to. It has tons of cases.

First off, cases for both of them are exactly the same (aside from the larger flash of the 5s) and should work with both unless the camera hole isn't large enough for the bigger flash. About the fingerprint reader, some people have been able to hack it, but apple released ios 7.0.1 which fixed that bug. Other than that, the 5s has many new features and a gold color option. It runs twice as fast too. If you don't absolutely need the improved camera, speed, touch ID, and color option, go with the 5. Be aware though, the 5c has taken place of the 5 so apple doesn't sell the 5 anymore (again, its replaced by 5c). If you decide to go with a 5, check on ebay or amazon or something to see if you can buy a brand new one from somewhere else. Best buy may still have some too. Hope this helped!

Get 5S, if you haven't seen the slow-mo video yet on the new iphone, go to youtube and search to see what people are uploading, its pretty neat stuff.

Well if your parents gave u the option, pick the 5s - its is more improved and have many new featuers like fingerprinting, dual flash, slow-mo video capturing (search this function on youtube. Its really cool), faster processing etc… My dad and i each own a 5s and neither of us have experienced any problems with fingerprint ID… However, the fingerprinting is only an option, you can still use the normal slide to unlock then enter password if the print ID doesn't work well for you…

but one thing, your wrong about the cases, iphone 5 and 5s have EXACTLY the same dimensions, so the cases for iphone 5 would fit perfectly with the 5s…
