Should I change my son s name?
I may have made a huge mistake, I love my son s name
Sire. But everyone pronounces it SIRI"(as in the iPhone app, sorta funny but sad)
I wanted to name him Leonardo but my cousin had a son named Leonardo that recently passed right before my son was born. I needed to pick another name and long story short I picked SIre. Can someone suggest a different spelling to make sure it's pronounced right or is this a name he s gonna have a hard time growing up with.
Who knew in America we can't pronounce a correctly spelled name.
He s 2 now so it might be late for a completly different name, maybe something similar like sia?
You could use Sam, or just correct people when they misprounce Sire, which is a great name
Nah, if you love your child's name, then just keep using it. Unfortunately people just don't pay attention before they speak, even when looking directly at the name. I would just keep reminding people that it's pronounced just as you've spelled it. People mess up names like Sarah or Ian.
