Should I cut my sim card or just buy a new one?
So my dad is getting the iphone 6 for Christmas and is giving me his barley used iPhone 5S. The problem is right now I have the 4S which has a micro sim card, while the 5S has a nano sim card. I watched some videos on youtube and know how to cut the sime card down to the correct size. Or should I just buy a new sim card for my phone and get all my information back by syncing my icloud with the new phone.
*****ALSO, what would be the difference between cutting down my old sim card and using it and buying a new sim card and syncing the used phone with the icloud?
Well. Cut down the sim from a professonal. As i will not recommend you to do it. As by syncing you will only sync contacts and other stuffs. But your personal contact number is that sim. So use dat sim.
- Will a blackberry sim card work in an iPhone 4 if we cut the sim? My friend has a blackberry and wants to buy an iPhone 4 off someone he knows. I have a micro sim cutter that I used when I went from iPhone 3G to iPhone 4. If we cut down his sim it will fit in the iPhone, but will he still be able to use Internet and call people? Also, would his network provider be able to send him a new iPhone sim but with the same tariff? Cheers

I've just cut my sim card into a micro sim, Placed it into my iPhone 4s and it states there no sim card in there, They phone was recently unlocked by Telstra and i know it's unlocked because i got a conformation message on iTunes. I would have thought i cut it too small though that same sim card works in my Samsung Galaxy s2 Perfectly? What's the problem and why isn't it working with my iPhone?
- If I just buy an AT&T iPhone 5 can I just put my sim card in it and it'll work? I wanted to buy a new iPhone, and didn't want to have to get a new contract. I wanted to know if I just bought a new iPhone off the internet with my company would I be able to do this, because I'm really getting sick of this iPhone 4. Someone please help me with this question.
