Should I get a credit card for an iphone?
I currently have an iPhone 5 16gb. The phone screen is becoming slow to react, and every now and then the home button doesn't work or the phone freezes. I'm not an authorized user on the AT&T account (I'm on a family plan)so using an upgrade is out of the question. So I would have to get it from a 3 party (eBay, Amazon, GameStop, etc.) I was going to get an iPhone 5s 32gb, however I basically buying the same phone. So I was trying to get the iPhone 6. However I can't pay for the phone full price upfront ( I can pay $300 upfront) but the rest would have to be from a credit card. If I would get a credit card, it would have to be at least 6 months interest free. (I have a GameStop credit card, but I can only use it at GameStop)Should I get a credit for an iPhone? Or just get the iPhone 5s?
Why not get it on contract? 6 is $99 and 5S is free on contract. I've never had a home button "freeze" on any iphone I have owned so my guess is you are probably dropping it.
If you already have a card, then use that one.
If you don't already have a card, then get whatever phone you can get without a card.
Either way, do not get a new card. If you don't already have a card, then you can't get a card that is at least 6 months interest free. An "interest free" card is one that is available only to someone who already has a card and wants another, and will reject anyone who doesn't already have any cards.
- Why won't my iPhone accept my credit card? My iPhone won't let me download apps, even though I have a my debit card info all punched in. There's no money on my card, but I'm trying to download free apps. Can someone explain this to me? Is there a way around it?
- Should I use my credit card to buy the iPhone X? I'm young and new to credit cards I would like to start building up my credit and I would also like to purchase a new phone since mine is all messed up. I'm wondering if I should pay for the iPhone on full with the credit card and pay the card off. Or pay the monthly payments for about 2 with my credit card and pay it off as I go. Please don't judge me as I'm new to the credit world & thanks in advance for everyone's input.
- ITunes Gift card instead of Credit Card? I found some things that i have been wanting on the iTunes store but i do not have a credit card registered with my account. If i were to buy an iTunes gift card, would that work in lieu of the credit card requirement? Also, the apps that i want to get are for the iPhone. Would buying an app with the gift card affect the plan with the phone in any way?
- IPhone credit card problems? I have a iPhone 4 and I recently wiped it, and the same time I had gone through a debit card replacement and now iTunes says my credit card doesn't match the banks record and I've talked to both on the phone, and neither knows what's wrong, can anyone help me?
