Should I get a Iphone 4s or Samsung Galaxy S3?

I have the option to turn in my old smartphone (Iphone 4) for one of the 2 above phones. I'm debating whether I want to switch to Android and 4G or if I want to stick with Apple and move up to the 4S. I have had an Iphone for the last 5 years, so I'm a little cautious about switching platforms and losing all my apps. But I think having 4G and being able to customize a bit more.So, my question (which is bound to spark a debate between pro and anti apple people) is what are the pros and cons for someone who is semi tech conscious for switching to android or staying with Apple.

I do not care about the IPhone 5 or Galaxy S4, I don't have the money to upgrade to them.

S3 then because the iPhone 4s sucks it lacks 4g LTE so its a slow phone so if you can't get the iPhone 5 or s4 you might as well get the s3

I think the s3 is a more advanced choice.

I believe it is a matter of personal opinion, I personally would got for a 4s, because I like iOS.

The s3 on paper, has more advanced features, also it is significantly newer than the 4s.

Personal choice, go in the phone shop ask to see them both.
