Should I get a samsung galaxy or iphone 5?

I need something good with battery life and the buttons don't break on me. I have an iphone 4s right now and the battery life is terrible and the buttons broke on me. Which phone takes better pictures? If I get a Galaxy, which one should I get?

There's huge arguments between these and i'm jsut going to be upfront about it straight up. Iphone 5.heres why:

-They're funner (app store)
- I reckon iphones are more addictive then Samsung
- Simply Apple
- Iphones are *** awesome
