Should I get the 20$ or 30$ data plan for my iphone?

I'm getting a new iphone and I don't know which data plan to get. I don't really use it for music but I want to be able to use all the apps, internet, texting, email etc.

You need a 60 dollar data plan i have unlimeted everything on my iphone 5 and it cost 150 a month

IPhone apps don't really need that many MBs per month so I suggest you go buying the 20$ one but if you like watching videos and downloading apps on the go you have to choose the 30$ one!

  • What is data in a Verizon data plan? I just got an iphone 5 and am having some trouble. I know that data includes email, accounts and any internet websites (facebook, youtube, netflix). Does it use up data to have multiple internet browsers open even though I only look at one at a time? Is it possible to use up data when the phone is off? Also, is taking a picture, playing app games, listening to music, and siri considered to be "data" on the data plan? Is there an overall explanation for what a data plan is?

I would use my phone for the usual things, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, random browsing. I have wi-fi at home and sometimes at school. I get emails during the day but I don't really send them. WHat would you guys recommend? My bad, i meant 3GB and 5GB
