Should I go to Apple or Verizon if the screen to my Iphone isn't working?
My friend dropped my phone on the back of it the other day and totally blacked the screen out. It's on because it vibrates but i can't see anything on the screen. My friends taking me to get a new one and I don't know where to go to get it fixed right away. Should I go to Verizon, where I bought the phone? Or Apple where the phones made from. I really need it right away so please help!
Apple. They made it. Verizon just services the phone aspects.
Better to see Apple (they usually offer a better service for repairs and stuff. A friend of mine got a complete iPhone replacement).
Either can do it, but I would go to Apple. Verizon has to answer to Apple if they replace the device under warranty, so they are less likely to replace a phone that has been dropped, which is not a warranty defect. Apple only has to answer to themselves.
- Left side of my iphone 4 screen isn't working? Nothing on the left side can be pressed! I did a hard reset (pressing the home and off button) but it didn't work. Then i completely reset it, but there's no difference. I don't have an apple store where i live, how can i fix my phone? Btw, i can still do the *slide to unlock* which is odd, considering that that requires use of the screen's left side
- My verizon 3G data isn't working? I recently bought an iPhone 4 on the Verizon prepaid plan. The first month my data worked perfectly. My minutes expired and when I got a refill, I noticed my data isn't loading. It says that it is working but nothing will load. I tried resetting everything but it still isn't working. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
- My Iphone touch screen isn't working? I dropped it while bending over, and now whenever I go to slide to unlock, it doesn't move. When I go to power it off, the cancel works fine, but again, the slide bar won't work. I restarted it, and when I do this, it automatically brings up the passlock, and when I go to type it in, only the 1 - 2 - 3 and 5 work… So I can't unlock my iphone at all. Does anyone know what I can do to get it working?
- My iPhone screen isn't working My white Verizon iPhone 4 16gb has stopped working on about 1/5 of the screen so i can't type on that side, nor open apps or features. I have never broken, scrathed or cracked my phone and it has been without a case since the day I got it! What's wrong with my screen!
