Should I minor in Mobile Applications Development or Web Development?
I'm going back to school for a BS in IT and I have the choice to minor in either of these areas. In the end I want to do both Web Dev and Mobile Dev, and know both, but which minor would be better to take? Would it be better to minor in Web Dev and learn Mobile Applications on my own? Or would it be better to learn Mobile Applications and then learn Web Dev on my own? Here is the course review…

Maybe I could also just take extra classes so I have the knowledge under my belt. Like a double minor.
I would say Mobile app. You can always learn web on your own and with the knowledge you will gain, web will be easy. But I'm thinking you know programming. Because you will be that for the mobile app. Not sure what they mean by Software Req. But I assume at least 1 -2 semesters of CS 1 and 2.
Mobile application market has shown a remarkable growth in the past few years. Go for mobile app development. It will be conducive for your career graph.
- Would the police get involved for an expensive stolen object by a minor? My mom bought me glasses($400). They are "real" and the lenses are made to fit my eye vision. I'm in middle school and a high school boy who has a reputation for stealing things (ipods, iphones etc) stole my glasses while he was hanging out with me. Will the police be willing to get involved in this? I live in California. I really need them back, they're expensive and I can barely see anything during class… Or life
- Will scratches and minor dents void my iPhone 4's warranty? Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button. Will this void my warranty in any way?
- What happens to a minor who is charged with theft while on probation? Someone stole my brand new 500$ iPhone at school on Wednesday, and I found out who it was today. The person is currently on probation, but my family will be pressing charges. Is there a possibility this person could be locked up? If not, what would his punishment be?
