Should I still get the iphone 5 even though the next iphone is coming out soon?

I might get iphone 5 on contract for £37 a month for 2years is it worth it or should I wait?

I would wait and get the next new one. Thats if you like basic phones. If you want to get free games and more customization i'd go with the Galaxy S4 or the Note 2

No get the 5S

Is there any reason you can't wait until the next iPhone is announced? It's only 2 weeks. You might decide to get the iPhone 5 anyway… Which will likely have a price drop. Other phone prices could also be negatively affected.

The new iPhone is coming out next month so wait for it to release.

You should wait. They are announcing it September 10.It will be faster and better camera. If the upgrade from the 5 to 5s isn't worth it to you, you could still get the 5 but at a cheaper price, and the 5 is plenty fast.

With only about 10 days (Sept 10), I think I would wait. The new iphone I think is going to rock, but the 5 will become cheaper too, heck maybe 4s will become the free version.

A Reason.

There's a rumour that there will be TWO iPhones released on 10/09/2013, the IP5S and the IP5C

The IP5S WILL be the upgrade to the IP5 and IP5C

Apple it is strongly rumoured CONFIRM that the IP5C will replace the IP5.

The IP5C will have the exactly the same specs as the IP5 but will have a plastic (no doubt PREMIUM PLASTIC!) instead of Aluminium back.

The IP5S will be the upgrade and retains the Aluminium back as well as being available in GOLD colour only… Not real gold

You should note 3 things ( pre research)

1)The Samsung Galaxy S II (2)was released in MAY 2011 & has 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor with an 8Mp camera.

18 months later November 2012 Apple puts a 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera in a phone and call it the IPHONE5

2) You will NOT have BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER (SHARING) on any iPhone ie photos / music can't be shared if one phone is an iPhone

The best ever iPhone is 1.2Ghz Dual Core processor & 8Mp camera or Samsung Galaxy S II (2) very lite as the SGS II has the nine features not on the iPhone5

The iPhone5 cost more than the Samsung Galaxy S4 [DOUBLE Quad Core 13Mp camera]

It may be that the desired phone is the IP5C as it is 99.9% iPhone, a reduced price will make it the preferential phone over the IP5.

Virtually every major player has a released phone with better specs than the iPhone 5 (Samsung alone have 5 models ) Apple is years behind.

Despite the IP5S being the newest phone in 2013 when it is released IT WON'T HAVE THE LATEST FEATURES when compared to phones not in the orchard

All iPhone5 wherever sourced will only be 4G LTE on Kevin Bacons EE network.

Both Yodafone and O2 will go live 4G LTE tomorrow 29/08/2013 in a few of those big cities with their electricity? And horseless carriages.

If you buy ANY iPhone5 and are on YODAFONE OR O2 you will not get 4G LTE using any IP5.

There's no upgrade. Apple are the only company to have NOT released a 4G LTE READY phone.

[4G READY means that an unlocked handset will be 4G LTE capable on any / all networks.

The IP5S WILL be 4G LTE READY so no worries there, whether or not the IP5C will be only Apple knows, not making it 4G LTE will be odd as it means it will be an EE phone
