Should i update my iphone to ios 7?
I have IOS 5 on my 4s and have it jailbroken which is why i haven't updated, i'm afraid of not being able to jailbreak it on IOS 7. Other than that, would you recommend IOS 7
It might not be the best idea to update to ios 7 on a jailbroken phone if all of your files are not backed up to your computer or icloud. You could be forced to restore the phone to it's factory settings. If you really want to update to ios7, make sure you have backed up all of your files in case you are forced to restore to factory settings. You will more than likely lose your jailbreak if you update to ios7.
I definitely would. I've been running iOS 7.1.4 on an iPod 5G for a few months now.
You actually CAN jailbreak iOS 7 now. Many packages have been updated for the new iOS, and more are updated all of the time. At first, AppSync would cause Mail and Safari (and a few other applications) to crash and become unusable, but they've updated the packages now, so everything works again (Thank God!)
Just visit the evasi0n team to download the executable and you'll be jailbroken in a few minutes.
iOS 7 is a little weird to become used to at first, but it's really the new thing. It's a step out of the box compared to iOS 6 and all of the old UI elements.
- Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.

- Should I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 or leave it on iOS 5? I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1 because I didn't want to lose google maps (which I use a lot) to shoddy apple maps but I've seen a google maps app on the app store now so do you think I should update to iOS 6? And what are the benefits?
