Should I update to ios 11?

I currently have ios 8.3 or something on my iphone 5s, and have the option to update to ios 11. I heard ios 11 really does drain your battery, and I know I can't go back if I do. Any suggestions?

You are probably right, I also hear that IOS 11 does hammer the battery pretty hard. You may be better holding off under you change your phone to something a little more powerful and with a new battery

No Don't Update your i phone 5s to ios 11 because as a former member of apple india i blindly tell that question answer if you update your i phone 5s to ios 11 then your phone becomes turtle in speed if you smart enough then you can easily understand what i'm trying to saying as you already listen in the past that apple already reduces their phone model speed to save their battery life if you want to use ios 11 and wants to use their latest features in it then go buy a new i phone model above SE like 6 or 6s then you can easily run ios 11 on them without worrying

I ran IOS11 on my iPhone 5s with no problems.

I would not as iOS updates have a tendency to drastically slow down older iPhone models.

Depends on how much memory you have. Less than 16 gigs I say no, over 32 than yes.
