Should I update to to ios 7 from 6.1.3 on iPhone 4?

Or should I just wait for the jailbreak which will probably come out next month.

If I were you, I would have updated it to iOS 7 instead of waiting for a month. Life is too precious for waiting. Enjoy it while you can.

I recommend not to update your iphone 4 to ios 7. The reason is that ios 7 needs much intregeted hardware processor like A6 A7. Iphone 4 has A4 processor which is much slower for ios 7. If you updated to ios 7 your iphone 4 will function much slower than before and there would be no way out to downgrade.untethered Jailbreak for ios 6.1.3 may be released before 2014 but jailbreak for ios 7 may take longer time. So better to stick on ios 6.1.3

I'd advise against it entirely, even if you don't jailbreak it.iOS 7 is terribly slow on iPhone 4.

  • Update stopped during ios update own iphone now phones broke I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer (iTunes) and started doing the update through iTunes. About five minutes into the update iTunes in my computer stops working, causing the update to of course stop working. Now my phone will not turn on. On the screen it is black with the 'charge symbol' as if it were low on battery and an iTunes symbol. I have tried turning my phone off and on, but of course it didn't respond.
