Should I upgrade my iphone to ios6?
I just bought the iphone 4S. This is my first time ever owning an iphone and I'm trying to learn all the features. I keep getting a message to update to ios6 but I read some horrible reviews online. Has anyone upgraded yet and if so, have you noticed any problems. I'm hoping that Apple has fixed some of the bugs that came with the upgrade but I'm not sure. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
DO NOT UPDATE TO IOS6. I had the 4, and 2 weeks before I got my 5, I updated my Iphone 4 to IOS6 and it completely made it way slower than before, it would freeze often, and the calling did not work. My phone had always been super slow but this time it got way slower and I thought the update would help. I know the new update is cool and everything but I wouldn't do it unless you wanna pay 500+$ for a new phone.
The only problems I have found is with maps, the rest is an improvement.especially siri in many more countries.
- Will I still have all of my apps after I upgrade my iPhone to a iOS6? I have an iPhone 4 and I want to upgrade it to a 6 but I don't wanna loose my apps. Will my apps still be on my phone after I upgrade it?
- Upgrading from ios6 to ios6.1.3? I got ios 6 on my iphone, but when I try to upgrade to ios 6.1.3 using iTunes I keep getting a error message 3194, I don't want ios 7
