Shure se425 vs your standard?
Contemplating spending £200 on some brand new shure se425.
I use the on spotify extremly high quality streaming iphone 5 device and yamaha home sound system
Are they really worth spending £200 for the quality in sound?
Is there a difference?
I've used klipsch s4 and Sony xba-2
Before and found the really nice
The cable broke so like the idea of replacing the items on shure
What's your views on these earphones?

Don't know the answer, but would appreciate input from audio buffs who have a lot of experience with headphones. I'm not aware that you can try headphones in shops, I'm guessing there's a hygiene issue.
So how do you compare headphones if you don't have friends who will let you try theirs out?
- Will it work to just plug a Shure SM-58 into the iPhone 5? No extra software, no special mic, the 58 is the most common mic out there, and I have one. If I just get any old xlr to 1/8" adapter, and run the mic right into the headphone jack, will it use the mic to record the audio while I'm recording video? That's what I'm trying to do, I've Googled around, but there just seems to be a lot of talk about how some mics work and some don't, and it's not clear if you need a special cable.
- What is the easiest, fastest way to get AVCHD video onto a standard DVD? Hi and thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I'm about to buy a Sony Cybershot digital camera (HX30) that takes video as AVCHD. Can you recommend idiot proof software that can take the videos off of the camera and burn them to a DVD? I don't care if the picture quality will be SD. I just want it on a DVD +/- R. Also if the software can also convert iPhone videos to DVD as well, that would be great.
- What is standard int'l shipping? I bought an item off of eBay and I'm buying it from California to Canada and I chose Standard int'l shipping. The item is the size of two iPhone charging bricks. I was just wondering would this ship to my Canada post mail box. Or my nearest Canada post service place. And also how long would it take.
- STANDARD SIM TO MICRO SIM Ok i have a non smartphone and a plan of no data and unlimited talk and text. I have an iphone 4 here that is fully new and needs a micro sim. Do i have to pay to convert to sim to micro sim? Or do i need to add a data plan. I would like to make calls and just text and use Wi-Fi on the iphone. Is that possible? My provider is AT&T
