I forgot my passcode and I put my iphone 4 in recovery mode?
So It was in recovery mode but it switched and now its doing a ''iphone software update'' after its done doing this update will it let me restore it?
Added (1). And no you don't have to put the passcode to restore it there's another way to put it on recovery mode even if you forgot your passcode
Don't you have to enter your passcode to restore it on itunes
Open iTunes hold the power button and home button at the same time for 15 seconds it will enter dfu mode click restore on iTunes and it should reset to factory worked on my iphone 4th gen
- What to do if you forgot you iphone passcode and you didn't even put your iCloud account in? When i first got my iphone i set the passcode as 000000 but I somehow typed too fast and hit something else and i did it TWICE. I didn't even get a chance to log in my apple id account. I don't know what to do.
- I just got an iPhone 7 and I forgot the passcode so now I can't finish setting up? It can't connect to iTunes and it's not on my iCloud? I feel so dumb for forgetting it, I'm always bad with remembering numbers. Even though I just put it in, I can't remember it. I really don't want to call Apple Support if I don't have to. So i did as told and now its in recovery mode? What do i do?
