I purchased an iphone online and turns out it was icloud locked?
I contacted the owner because their number was on the phone and he said its his mothers and she forgot it at a store and it was never turned in. I paid $300 for it but i still feel bad. I contacted them and asked if I can give them money for a new phone. Is it illegal to be in possession of a phone that was forgotten? I did not know upon purchase and now i feel stuck. What would you do?
So you didn't check this before buying? Not much you can do other then take the loss, someone obviously scammed you as I'm guessing they arent just going to give your money back. Next time be smarter and check things.
There's a way you can get it to work but it will cost you a bit. If you can do that, you will be able to use the phone. If you need help with the issue, mail me for more info.
- Iphone 4s-Setup, Locked out, Icloud Bypass? A family member has asked me to fix his Iphone. Recently he let someone (of his friends) hold it, and he is locked out of his phone. I have already went to iTunes and restored the phone, I'm now at a new setup point, I have reached iCloud. He does not know that person who it says the phone is linked too, so how can I hack the phone to get rid of that bypass? *Most importantly, what buttons can i press to erase the phone COMPLETELY?(Means erases from and iCloud or such.)
- Iphone 4s screen blacks out and turns back on? So recently my iphones battery had been dying faster than usual so since I'm a do it yourself person i unscrewed the back then unscrewed the hatch for the battery replaced it with a new battery. The phone powers on and works but after about 5 minutes the phone will cut off and then reboot. I don't get why its doing someone help me please

- Found iphone 5s is icloud locked and owner phone number is out of service? So I found this iphone 5s while walking home from school. So when I turned it on it says this phone has been lost to please contact the owner and this number. So when I called the number it showed out of service. So there's no way to get in contact with the owner. If I take the phone to a apple store, can they unlock it for me so I could use it?
