My iPhone is ruined. Can I get my info back?
Dropped it in the ocean. Genius, I know.
Anyway, it's still drying out, so there's still hope. But if it is a goner, can I get my photos and things? I have "lost or stolen" insurance, so fixing the phone isn't an issue. It's getting my memories back.
Put it in rice, my mom did the same except in the toilet:/ if it doesn't work, then if you have them saved on your computer you can re- download them. Also, people at the store might be able to do it
You can if you have been backing up your phone with iTunes. If you've been syncing it to iTunes and saved the photos, messages, contacts, music, etc. Then yes.
Most warranties and insurance do not cover water damage. Do you have your icloud account enabled where your pictures and videos automatically back up on that? I think you get 5gb for free so i would check that. If not then when you get a new apple device i would be sure to get that set up. Also another tip would be to frequently hook your iphone up to itunes and run frequent back ups. Hope my answer helped!
- Who here thinks iOS 7 ruined iphone? I seriously hate it. At first In was dying to get my iphone because of the update but now I just hate it. They so copied android and now I feel as if my iphone 5 is just an android phone inside it but outside its an iphone. Serously? What are your thoughts? And if there's possible way to return it back to the old update without reseting the whole thing can you please let me know?
- Which is more accurate regarding the details of an iphone, iphoneimei.info or imei.info? When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
- My Iphone 4S now has a red jack-sensor after a minor splash. How can I tell if it is ruined? Everething else seems to be OK. However, battery life dropped from 13 to 5 in a short period of time. It's lying on a warm place now.
- Is my iPhone ruined beyond repair? Got my iPhone Friday night. I just dropped it on the sidewalk (ironic, because a few hours ago, I had ordered a protective case.) and at first, all I saw we're little paint chips and scratches on the bottom. I clicked the home screen and heard a tiny crack, and now there's a small crack running along the bottom of my phone. Is there a way to fix the crack and scratches? I'm literally crying, as this was a gift my mom gave me.
