My Iphone 4S now has a red jack-sensor after a minor splash. How can I tell if it is ruined?
Everething else seems to be OK. However, battery life dropped from 13 to 5 in a short period of time. It's lying on a warm place now.
That Mark is just so that Apple knows that you got water in your phone. They do this so that you can't say that it is their fault.
I would leave it in rice for a few days to let the water get absorbed. Turn it off or the thing is more likely to be wrecked. Then test the thing out. Whatever you do, DO NOT TURN your PHONE ON.
- Will scratches and minor dents void my iPhone 4's warranty? Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button. Will this void my warranty in any way?
- My iPhone is ruined. Can I get my info back? Dropped it in the ocean. Genius, I know. Anyway, it's still drying out, so there's still hope. But if it is a goner, can I get my photos and things? I have "lost or stolen" insurance, so fixing the phone isn't an issue. It's getting my memories back.
- I got the iPhone 7 Plus red product and now 3 weeks later the mic isn't working for calls I was talking to someone today and the person couldn't hear me anymore. I was trying to charge it and then instantly I guess they couldn't hear me anymore. I tried calling another person, but they said the same thing. My mic works for Siri, Videos, Facebook messenger. What can I do to fix this?
