Sold an iphone box on ebay? Am i cleared for this?

I put an item up on ebay and had the bid start at zero. The item description clearly stated that it was only a box and the title stated so as well.here is the ended item link

am i cleared?

No, you're an idiot who's just going to get case open against you in the resolution center and you will lose. You are clearly trying to be misleading - why did you even put a picture of the phone when you were only selling the box?

eBay does NOT take likely to sellers like you. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a suspension waiting for you.

Just like Mal said, You're most likely going to get banned from ebay and the buyer can sue you. Yes I repeat the buyer CAN SUE you. I've seen it first hand he/she will sue you for false advertisment/scamming and you will LOSE. My suggestion? Start lawyering up LOL

You are dead meat.

Items specifics clearly state your 'box' has an 8MP camera and storage capacity of 16 GB. People like you think you are clever. You will find out different when your account gets banned. Loser.

If eBay is on the ball, you will be de-registered for violating policy. Yes, eBay has an empty box policy because people do not read the auction, the look at the misleading title and bid.

You listed the box in a category dedicated to selling an actual phone. *you* are the one at fault here.

The buyer will protest to paypal and they will get their money back. You will be forced to repay the money along with a $10 fee for the trouble.

The policy is very explicit. If you can't buy the box only from the manufacturer, you can't sell the box by itself on eBay.

"===>>>>Not allowed
Accessories or packaging without the accompanying product. Examples include:
Box for a branded [item] without the accompanying [item]<<===this is what you did!

Your item description includes the iPhone capabilities and you have posted up a photo of an iPhone. Your ad is very misleading. A box doesn't have a camera etc? I don't think you are actually allowed to sell "empty product boxes". Contact the buyer and tell them they are only buying a box and obviously you realize that they aren't wanting to pay $360 for a box so you'll do a mutual sale cancellation. If you relist, if thats ok with ebay, your item description is " used iPhone empty box". Your detailed description includes no details about an iPhones capabilities. You leave all that blank. YOu include a photo of an empty box and you say in your description "for auction, an empty iPhone box. There's no iPhone or other accessories included, just an empty box". Yes, people are silly biding so much for a box but you mislead them by including the phones photo in the listing and describing an iPhones functionality in the description section. Also your item title description was not clear. You can't put it in the fine print as an afterthought.
