Someone has retweeted or favorited your retweet?
On Twitter I always get notifications when someone that I may or may not follow retweets or favorites a tweet that I've retweeted. I have a lot of followers so this can get quite annoying. Does anyone know of a way to turn these notifications off? I have access to Twitter from an iPhone and a laptop if that makes a difference.
There's no way for you to turn it off, its something new on twitter. Well i believe that locking your profile will help, you can find that option in settings. Nothing else i can tell you, sorry.
Unless Andrew Is right about the new update, you should be able to go into your settings app and turn push notifications off
Depends on what program you are using. Look for a setting called notifications. You can shut it off from there. Tweetdeck for instance will let you turn on or off retweets, mentions, favorites etc.
- Is there anyway to tell if someone has read your message or not? I have an IPhone 4S… Sometimes I get "read at 4:30" or something and sometimes it just says delivered… Is there a difference? And can I make so I always know when someone reads it?
- Is there anyway to see when someone has read your text message on an iPhone 5? I have an iPhone 5 and whenever my boyfriend texts me he knows when I've read it or not (that's a whole nother issue… ) and I wanted to know if I could know when someone saw/read a text I sent to them, like he has. How come other phones can do this? Isn't that a privacy issue?
- Is there an app to c if someone has read your text? I have an iPhone and was wondering I there's an app or a setting that shows u when someone else has read/opened your text? And hasn't replied yet.
- How to tell someone has read your text, even if they have it set where you can? I have an iPhone so I use I message all of the time. My friend showed me how to make it so that someone can't tell that I've read their text. Us there a way to tell if the person I'm texting has the same thing? I know that kind of goes against the whole point, but I sent an important message to a friend and I need to know if she got it or not. Is there some type of loophole?
