Someone sells me an iphone 4s but the apple id wasn't signed in. What to do?
Please help me i'm stuck at the home screen that says "hello" after the country and the Wi-Fi connctn.

That's what happens when the iPhone gets reset to the default. It is now ready for you to enter your Apple account and Wi-Fi information.
If you don't have an Apple account create one and put in your Wi-Fi connection if you have one. Just follow the prompts and it will set the phone up to your information.
Unless you have your phone set up with a carrier it can only be used with Wi-Fi and you can't use the phone function until you set it up with a carrier.
Your phone is doing what it's supposed to do.
Follow this tutorial but you also need to go ahead and download and install iTunes on your pc/laptop. You're going to need it. Then set up an Apple ID as password that you will not forget. You'll be up and running solid in about 35-40 mins max. Best luck.

You need to sign up for an apple id then set it up as your own. Use a good password and don't forget it, keep it private. That will be your password and ID going forward for all apps, for using find my iphone, etc.

- If I call someone while signed onto Skype, will my phone number show up on their end? As opposed to physically dialing a phone number, I used my iPhone to call someone on Skype after signing on to Skype with my e-mail and password. Therefore, I simply clicked the "phone' icon. Since I was using Skype from my iPhone, will my mobile number show up in that person's missed calls?
