Someone stole my iphone 5s?

It got stolen this past weekend at a concert in San Bernardino, and I live in OC. So someone grabbed it out of my pocket and I didn't see who it was. I tried using FIND MY IPHONE but it says my cellular data was off, and i have a password on it. I accidently removed MY DEVICE. I went to apple, since i have Apple care and they said they couldnt do anything about it i was so pissed. Also i contacted virgin mobile and they couldnt do anything. Is there any way i can track it or get it back or is it gone forever? I have the box and serial numbers but i want to at least make sure who ever stole it can never use it as a phone. Please no rude comments, this phone meant alot to me.

If you removed your device, you're not going to find it.

If you set up iCloud they won't be able to use it, however.

If you took the phone off find ny iPhone, its a gone. They will be able to use it. They will simply unlock or jailbreak it and resell it. Sorry about your phone.

What do you expect Apple to do? They aren't the police. Its good you had find my iphone on because they can't wipe it or turn off that feature without your password. You can also put a permanent message on the screen that can't be removed by signing on to icloud through any browser, they may have it off but it will be hard to ever sell it because anyone buying should always make them erase it in front of them, which they can't do.

You can report the phone as stolen so it can't be resold. If you were smart and got insurance on the device then you can get a new one at a substantially lower price. If you had an android there's a way around turning off find my android and locating your device.
