Someone wants to cancel an order on Amazon?

I'm selling my iphone 5 on amazon.
someone bought it and after 2-3 hours, he emailed me back wanting to get his money back cuz he "accidently" bought it.
i lied to him saying i can't change it cuz its already been shipped.
and i'm planning to sell it out to him, because i had my iphone up for like 2 weeks and its so frustrating and he made me happy and now he wants to cancel it…

even if i say no and send the item, does he have right to send a refund?

If its anything like eBay than it depends on your specific return policy. If worse comes to worse figure out a way to charge them a cancelation fee along with return and a restock fee so at least you wouldn't have done it for nothing. And if the product comes back damaged don't return the payment. I would contact amazon they usually have great customer service.

If Amazon is any thing like eBay you can't just accidentally buy some thing, there's way too many steeps to go through in the buying process.
He as no right to a refund. He interred a binding contract when he made the purchase.
This is one of the reason I like eBay. Both the seller and the buyer have to agree to cancel a transaction before it can be canceled. And eBay does not charge as much for selling.

  • Someone wants my MEID number? I'm trying to sell my sprint iPhone 5s on craigslist. A guy contacted me saying he wanted me to send him the MEID number so he could verify it would work for his plan. He doesn't actually need this, does he? The only things that should matter at things like what type of phone it is and when it was purchased right? I read that it can cause problems if the wrong person gets ahold of that number. This sounds like a scam to me. Is it?
  • Should I order from eBay Or Amazon? I'm going to be getting an iPhone 4s. I've ordered from Amazon a bunch of times but never ordered an electronic from the website. I haven't ordered from eBay before but I want you guys to tell me which website will be best to order the phone from? That's if you guys ordered an electronic from one of these websites.
  • Should I cancel the order? I brought a brand new iPhone 6 but I just read in the description that they are actually refurbished. Now I'm really worried because I saw the same 6s plus for the same price which is refurbished too. Shall I buy the refurbished 6s plus and cancel my order of the 6 plus or just wait for my 6 plus to arrive?
  • How to order iPhone 4S case on Amazon? Every case for sale says for 4/4S. I know there isn't a huge difference, and I know a 4 case should fit 4S, but my dad is throwing a fit saying I can't buy a case unless it is made specifically for my phone. He doesn't wanna pay for something that doesn't fit right. Is there a way to email the person selling and let them know I'd like it for 4S?
