Sometimes my iPhone takes long to turn on after I lock the screen, is that normal?

Mine does it 2 an cricket said it was because I used up a lot of my data for downloading apps.

Maybe if you double tap the home button when you're iPhone is on and removed all the apps there, also turn off your iPhone then back on

It's possible that apps are running in the background when they should be minimized. Do the following:

1. Double-press the home button and a the screen will slide up to reveal the apps currently running.

2. Hold down on any of those app icons until they start wobbling.

3. Press the red ( - ) in the corner of the icons to close them all down.

4. Press the home button again to return to the home screen.

5. Hold the sleep/wake button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide this to turn off the phone. Then press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on. (This is a restart)

6. If this doesn't work then hold the sleep/wake button and the home button down for 10ish seconds until an apple logo appears. When this goes away hold the sleep/wake button down for a second or two to turn the phone on again. (This is a hard reset)

7. If that doesn't work then plug the phone into itunes and restore the phone from the summary page (click on the device name). Make sure you back up the phone first.

8. If you still have issues then contact apple support on 1-800-275-2273
