Sony claims thaaat xperrria z1 is shatter proff.really?
If its shatter proof then i think i would buy it coz every person when buy a phone is afraid to drop it. My question for users that are using xperia z1. Have they ever dropped it. If so does it survived or broke its screen like iphones.
Nope, you misunderstood.
The xperia Z phones (and other waterproof Sony phones) carry a shatterproof sheet on top of the glass screen. And that sheet isn't there to prevent the screen from shattering but to prevent the shards of the screen, should it shatter, from injuring you.
But there are a lot of people who don't like this sheet, as it doesn't do very much for the screen, but scratches easily (or at least easier than the glass underneath).

- How do people shatter their iphone screen so easily? I've dropped mine like i swear at least 50+ times in the last 2-3 years and the screen hasn't cracked or anything close to it. Only the sides are kind of rusty and btw i don't have screen protection or case. And i've dropped it on every type of floor.
