What does this mean and should I be concerned?
I was watching YouTube on my iPhone when I randomly got this message. "A server with the specified hostname could not be found." I googled this and found that people who've gotten this message were trying to set up "mountain lion servers". I have no idea what those are and have never done anything like that on my iPhone, does this mean my phone could've been hacked or something? (I have not jailbroken my phone if that makes any difference) What should I do?
It means your device was trying to access something it couldn't find. I wouldn't worry about it.
- What does this mean: Free Msg: Receiver unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active mean on iPhone's iMessage? I tried sending my friend a text and it replied with this. We haven't gotten into any fights and we hung out for hours recently. Has she blocked me?
- What does it mean if he does this? When I'm walking to the bus and my crush is to I catch him looking what I'm doing on my iPhone and I look at him back. And I notice when he sees me with the phone he takes it out and copies me like how I hold it stuff
- What does iphone mean when it says 879 MB sent and 4.6 GB received? I've just purchased a new iPhone and I'm still a bit new to understanding a couple terms. Anyway, I've read that to calculate data you have to add the two (sent and received) but is it still the same for when one is in MB and the other is in GB? Please help as I would like to make sure I haven't exceeded my total data usage.
- Spam message from twitter opened on iphone, should I be concerned? I received a direct message on twitter that was the usual spam trying to get me to click on a link. Normally I never open these and delete them but thanks to the notifications setting it opened the message directly but thankfully not the link. Should I be concerned of any possible infection from this?
