Speakers on iphone don't work?
Alright, so a few weeks ago I had the glass on my iphone 4 replaced. I don't have insurance on it, so that was the cheapest way to get it fixed. Well since then, the speakers on the phone don't work. I have tried reinstalling the software but that didn't fix anything. Now there may be a wiring issue that occurred when the glass was replaced but the company would need the phone over night to fix it and I don't have time for that. So if anyone has some advice that would be great!
What works/what doesn't:
-Phone calls work, the person can here me/i can hear them.
- speaker phone does NOT work. I hear nothing, other person can still here me.
- Phone doesn't ring or play music.
- One app (Zippo app) works just fine, I can hear all the sound effects normally when I turn it on.
- If I'm in a call and go to text someone, the sound works… I hear the key clicks and it beeps when I get a new message (again, ONLY if I'm currently on the phone with someone)
Everything works normally if I put headphones in…
Your phones speaker is blown.
Maybe try resetting the whole phone? It doesn't sound like your speakers are blown, since then it would never work, whereas you said it worked for one ap
- Will my iPhone 5 adapter work with my speakers? I got an iPhone 5 adapter and I tried plugging it into my speakers and even though it says its charging, the music won't come out of the speakers, and that's happened for every device i've tried to use it with.Am I doing something wrong, or do I have to go out and buy a whole new speaker?
- Why won't the speakers on my iphone 4 work? I just updated my iphone4 to ios 5 and it seemed really cool at first but then i tried listening to music through the speakers on my iphone and nothing would come out, it only works with headphones, help? Also can i get siri with this new update?

- Sound in iPhone 5 speakers do not work? Just asked this question but i have found out more information. Okay so my phone speakers were working earlier but now they are not. Just bought it not even 5 hours old. They do not work, they were working on youtube but now they are not working on any app, siri, or even when calling i can't hear the other person. However, plugging in my headphones i can hear through the headphones. Does anyone know if this is just a firmware problem, or is it defective?
