Will my iPhone 5 adapter work with my speakers?
I got an iPhone 5 adapter and I tried plugging it into my speakers and even though it says its charging, the music won't come out of the speakers, and that's happened for every device i've tried to use it with.Am I doing something wrong, or do I have to go out and buy a whole new speaker?
New Speaker. The lightning connector does not output analog audio. Your speaker needs to be USB or use the headphone jack input.
If you got a genuine Apple Lighting Adapter it should work. Even if you have analog speakers, the adapter has a DAC to handle the conversion (the one thing it won't handle is passing video out)

It's a 2007 Jetta - it doesn't have bluetooth.
