Sports a waste of time?
I like football and like the NY Giants. However, I do not sit home every sunday to watch the games. I like hiking and the outdoors. Especially in September & October, the weather is beautiful outside and I'm not going to stay home just for a game - I go out hiking, kayaking, swimming etc.
I follow the games still and sometimes listen to them on my car radio while driving on my outings on sundays, the only time I stay home is during the playoffs in January.
I do not understand why do some guys insist on staying home and watching every game during nice weather? Its silly and a waste of time. You can just follow the game on your iphone or whatever instead.
People have different interests. Not sure why that's difficult for you to grasp.
If I were you, I would do what your boyfriend tells you, and do your thinking on your own time… Just a suggestion.
Pretty much everything is a waste of time when you really start to think about it…
Your passion is the outdoors. That's your thing. For others, sports is their thing. To each their own.
Sports nut are sports nuts but… With the working class becoming more and more slaves. Not making a living family wage… Your options are more and more not open for the shrinking "middle class" worker… I live where the great outdoors has always been open… But more and more of it is being locked out for the working class… A lot of land that was open last summer is no longer free to the "public"this summer…

Cause they are too lazy to go out and watch the garne in person
Some people (woman included) like to watch the game. If its not your cup of tea that is fine, but don't judge people for the choices they make
It's a matter of priorities and everyone has their own choices to make.

I feel like i'm the only one who feels this way but in this world if you don't like sports then most of society looks at you with a dirty look appearently because i'm not a follower of trends and i don't follow social norms like all the sheep do who buy iphones drink watch tv for a hobby and cheer mindlessly at sporting events i'm the one who's the loser because i choose not to be a sheep and follow the trend of this captialistic and materialistic society
