Sprint iPhone 4s to net 10 bring your own phone?
A friend recently gave me a sprint iPhone 4s. I paid 70 bucks for the net10 bYOP activation kit today. I followed all the CDMA steps to activate the phone and still nothing! I even called the net10 customer rep and he didn't know either, he said to call back in 24 hrs! I keep getting this "You are currently not allowed to use this service. Please contact customer care support. Msg 2126" error MSG. And the carrier still says sprint. Any advice? Really hopping I didn't waste money!
Sprint phones DO NOT work with Net 10. Sprint is a CDMA carrier(Doesn't use Sim card). Net 10 is a GSM carrier(use sim card). Net 10 service uses at&t tower so they will work if you have a At&t iPhone or any At&t phone. It will not work with your Sprint iPhone 4s. Although if the iPhone you bought is in Good Condition its not a bad deal. You could probably sell it for $100 or more.
- Would you replace your own screen on your iPhone or iPod? Hi, I was just wondering if you would replace your own screen on your iPhone, provided you have the correct tools, videos and guides? And help if you can get access to it? Thanks I'm not looking to replace my screen, I was just wondering if YOU would do it.
- What iPhone app lets you upload your own borders/backgrounds for your photos? I've seen people post photos on Instagram, with the pictures in various sizes, and different images as the background border. InstaSize allows you to make your photos different sizes, but only has a limited selection of borders. I've been searching through so many different photo editing/photo collage apps and can't find anything that does this.
- Is it possible to get computer virus on your iPhone if you use it to surf the net? What is the best way to get rid of computer virus on your cell phone? Would it be possible to install a miniature version of Malwarebytes onto iPhone to quarantine/delete computer virus?
- If I bring my own phone that is unlocked to a carrier, will they lock it with them and do they have every right to do that? I have an iPhone that I just had unlocked so I can go switch to another carrier, but I'm wondering what will happen when I take it to another carreir to put service on it. Will they lock it with them?
