Sprint warranty for water damage on iphone 4s?
Recently, my brand new iphone 4s fell on my sink, the problem with it is that there are grey spots and blue spots on my screen. Do you know if there's a warranty on my phone, i remember the worker told me that it did not cover loss but i don't remember after that
I have an iPhone 4s with Sprint too and my phone also fell in the sink but luckily nothing bad happened to it. For my phone I had to buy the warranty. So if you bought the warranty you should be able to get a new one or have it repaired.
Hi.Warranty does NOT cover water damage or any physical damage done to the phone. However if you have insurance then you are covered yes. Take a look at this video on what to do in case your phone gets wet & follow the steps
Sorry warranties do not cover water damage and most insurance does not cover water damage.
- Will the one year warranty on my iPhone camera damage? I didn't buy AppleCare, but my phone still comes with a one year warranty regardless, right? If so, does that cover like the blurriness of the camera lens? Like I did nothing to it, it just randomly starting taking blurry pictures and if you compare it to another iPhone you can tell the quality is different.
- Will sprint also have the 1 year iPhone warranty? Long story short: I live 1.5 hours away from the closest Apple store. My iPhone suddenly won't even turn on, and I seriously need to get it replaced soon. I still have 6 months left on my warranty through apple, so here is my question: I know if I go to apple, they'll replace my phone. But if I go to sprint, will they also replace my phone?
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
