Depends what you're charging. Take an iphone for example. No it won't charge quicker in a wall socket because the battery needs to be charged at the same rat or it will ruin it. A usb outputs 5v i think and a wall socket 120, so when you plug it into the wall it is "down scaled". Moving has nothing to do with it. Keeping the engine near 2000 RPM will charge it faster. Hmm thinking You'd have to drive with the motor above 2500 rpm for at least 2 to 3 hours with any hope of it starting the next day. Yes, letting the car run will charge the battery. Driving does it faster. If you want to charge it just idling, let it run for a good half hour or so. Starting the car uses some power from the battery, so you need to let it run long enough to make that back and then some. Driving, the motor runs faster, which makes the alternator run faster, generating more electricity to charge the battery with.
