Store alarm goess of for no reason?

I work at a local convenient store during the evening and night time.
For the past week when I finished my shift and lock the the store the alrm goes off. I don't reason the reason for this. I have never had this problem before. Its frustrating because I have to go back in store and call helpdesk and that takes time. The manager has called the engineer in. But I'm just curious does anyone know what could cause the alarm to go off? I have heard iphones can set alarms off. Interested to hear your thoughts

We have no idea of what the security system is nor how it's triggered.

But usually that kind of fault which occurs when you've activated the alarm and then locked up is due to a faulty door or window sensor, or a door/window which has not been closed properly. Internal infared motion detectors can be triggered if something hot or cold is within the sensor area and is changing temperature rapidly, such as a computer which has shut down, or an air conditioner which has been switched off. Animal movement such as large vermin or caged birds will also trigger them.

Hopefully those guesses may help you work it out for yourself. But if not the alarm engineer will quickly identify which circuit is triggering the alarm and isolate the fault.

Sometimes criminals deliberately trigger alarms at set times like that for a while. The intention being to fool the owner into thinking there's a fault so that the alarm is left wholly or partially deactivated to allow them to break in later on.

  • Will Iphone 6 and 6 plus be available on Friday at ATT store? Or any store? I know they are sold out on pre-orders, but I was wondering if there's still a chance there would a limited supply at the store on the 19th. Any info would be great, because the internet isn't helping much. (besides apple store. Closest one is an hour away)
  • Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?
  • Verizon store or apple store for a new iphone 5? Verizon said I can get an Iphone 5 for "Using my upgrade + $199).Is it true that I can get an iphone 5 at the apple store for $199? If true, Why would I use an upgrade at verizon and pay the same amount for the phone?
  • Should I buy my iPhone at the Apple Store or the Verizon store? The plans and the phones themselves cost the exact same; the difference is the care plan. I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper. I don't know how long either last, or which one takes care of the customers the best. Any opinions?
