Straight talk with iPhone 4s device blocked from data use?
A few days ago I purchased an unlocked iPhone 4s. Not jailbroken, but unlocked. Then today I got a microsim card from straight talk and activated it onto my iPhone. Everything worked fine when it was activated, I was able to call text and browse the internet. Then while going through settings I accidentally clicked "reset network." Now when I try to place calls it says "We're sorry but this device has been blocked from network use. Please call your wireless service provider."
I did call them, but since it's a friday night I was on hold for an extremely long time and ended up using the service to call back when a representative was ready. I'm hoping I can find an answer to this problem before I even have to call straight talk. However I will call every day until the problem is fixed.
Doesn't make sense to me, but according to that the best thing to do is to call them. Or see if you can get help from their website.
- Why is my straight talk iPhone data so slow? I have a jail broken iPhone 4s which I use with straight talk. When I first got it I downloaded a program on safari and the 4g and mms worked perfectly and I could watch Netflix. But I reset it and and this time I could not find the program I downloaded last time, so I used tetherme and now my Internet is so slow, but it still says I have 4g
- What's the data limit for Straight Talk's Unlimited plan? I'm probably going to buy the unlocked GSM iPhone 5 and then use it on Straight Talk. However, has Straight Talk said how much data you can use before your data speeds start getting throttled? Also, will the data that I use while I'm on Wi-Fi count against that data limit?
- What are Straight Talk's data speeds? I have bought an unlocked iPhone 5, and I was about to buy the Straight Talk sim, but then I realized that I didn't know their data speeds. I was surprised to learn that NOWHERE do they post their data speeds. I emailed them a week ago, and because of the half-baked customer service, they haven't replied. Anyway, does anyone know what their data speeds are, or at least have experience with them?
- We're sorry but this device has been blocked from network use? Ok so I bought an iPhone 4S AT&T not knowing it was stolen. How would I make this phone work to where I can use it on my service AT&T? If I were to unlock it would it work?
