Stuck on/off button on iPhone 4s?
Well I'm usually pretty good about not dropping my phone, but the other day I happened to drop it while running to my car. The on/off button was stuck when I picked it up. There are no dents or anything jamming it in… But it doesn't not work when I press on it. Is there a way I can try and fix this before I go to apple and getting a replacement? I do have insurance.
If you have insurance take it in and get it fixed since there's no cost. You don't need to ever turn it off though, I haven't turned my iphone off in years and never had an issue. Even at night don't shut it off, the power doesn't drain once it goes dormant.
- Off button on my iphone 4 is stuck? I noticed how difficult it was to turn my phone off lately and I thought it was just the case I was using so I took it of to turn off my phone and the button is stuck! I'm very gentle with my phone, and none of my friends touched it before it happened… How do I fix it?
- Button to turn off my iPhone 4 is like stuck I got my apple iPhone 4 about a month and a half ago. I have a cover for it but I'm very careful with it. I haven't dropped it or slammed it or anything. It's still in good condition but for some reason the button on the top to turn off the screan and power it off is stuck. Has this happened to anyone else?
- Stuck iPhone 4 lock button! Stuck/Stripped screws Okay so, I've had this stupid panda case on my phone and it jammed my lock button. It still works if you push super hard from the side, but no clicking sound. I saw how to fix it by opening my phone up but the screws won't come out no matter what! I tried a screwdriver alone, with duct tape, rubber band, double sided tape, everything! I don't have a warranty on my phone, and I'm looking for a super inexpensive (>$5) way to fix it, any ideas?
- My iphone power button got stuck and a day later it died completely? The button was a little sticky and could still work, but then i could not even press it down at all and would have to wait for it to shut off after a minute like it normally does after being inactive. Then on my way to an apple store to get it fixed, the iphone died when i pressed the pause button on my headphones. I tried plugging it into a charger but it is unresponsive.
