Sudden Wi-Fi (connecting) problems iPhone 4s?
My iPhone 4s never had problems connecting to Wi-Fi until a couple of weeks ago.
At first it didn't connect at all, then it'd connect after a while but the signal would drop every couple of minutes.
It also freezes when I'm in the settings menu and sometimes when I'd restart my phone, the Wi-Fi option would be greyed out.
So I did a hard reset, updated to the latest firmware and I tried everything I could find on the internet regarding the phone and my own router, but nothing seems to help.
My phone didn't fall, doesn't have water damage or anything else that may have caused this, it just happened overnight.
I can't take it back to the store since the warrant is long overdue, so any help would be great.
This happened to my 4s last year and it turned out that the wi-fi chip was burnt out. The 4s is too outdated to handle all of the data-using programs that are out now, so it gets overloaded and shorts out the wi-fi chip. Your phone is pretty much toast. I tried to get a refurbished phone, but the same thing happened to the refurb within the first few weeks. Your best bet is to upgrade.

- Problems connecting my Iphone with my ihome? My iPhone needs a snugger fit with it's iHome. When I first bought it, it worked fine but now when I snap my iphone into the dock it doesn't connect unless I keep the phone pushed forward a little bit because it is leaning back too far. Also, it is not my iphone that is the problem, does the same thing with anyone elses. Any tips? None of the adapters to change the dock input work with my phone either, they are all too small. I have the iPhone 4 and the ihome iD91
