Switching back to an iPhone?

Okay first off please do not think I'm some spoiled brat! But I'm 14 and I've had an iPhone 4s since last Christmas I wanted a bigger phone so this Christmas my parents bought me the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I've had it for about a month and I really don't like it. I miss my iPhone I like the operating system and big phones just aren't for me. I thought I was going to like how big this phone is but I've decided that I like the iPhone size. I miss FaceTime and Siri and all the things that iPhone have to offer that Samsung has tried to do but haven't come out the way apples are. I have the money to get myself and iPhone 5c but I'm just not sure if my parents would allow me to because I just got this phone. Should I switch back to an iPhone or stick with the phone that I have now? Please no rude or mean answers. Plus how would I convince my parents to let me get an iPhone again.

I think this is a question only your parents can answer. Go and ask them!

Its up to you only…

If you have the money for the phone itself and if there are any minor fees along with the cost of just the phone, then I'm sure your parents will help. Just be glad that your parents can afford you a nice phone either way. I have an iphone 4 and I wish I could get an iphone 5c at least.

If the Galaxy is on a contract you will need to find a way to pass that phone over to someone else, otherwise cancellation clauses will come into effect… Usually paying back the remainder of the contract plus a fee. So is there someone in your family who would like the Note 2?

Talking to your parents about this offers a great negotiating-skills learning opportunity. You have to anticipate and have solutions prepared for their arguments. You may need to offer to do chores or special work to make up for the money they will lose.
You have to be honest. You made a mistake and you really do want to stay an Apple phone person for as long as that firm still make phones.
